Design Team

Our in-house design team at Mitchell & Cooper are creative problem solvers that can turn an idea inside out, blend in new technology, materials and branding whilst infusing the whole project with innovation. Traditional design methods have become the company's bible to success and are crucial to every project that passes through the department.

A project always begins with a spark of inspiration, research, knowledge gathering or a discovery of a new opportunity. The problem or brief is then broken down and an understanding as well as a design direction is formed through sketching. Many design concepts are created and refined again and again until a solution is found. At various stages everything must be reviewed throughout the project.

Once a solution has been agreed it is then developed and styled using appropriate detailing and is evaluated in order to understand if the manufacturing processes and materials are feasible. Our engineers and designers work together to create CAD models and renders for prototyping and visual presentations before finalising tooling, production, manufacture & Delivery.
